7 day Allagash Canoe the Wild canoe trip including a visit to the Eagle Lake and West Branch Railroad and Eagle Lake Tramway. We caught a few brook trout, paddle lively Chase Stream Rapids, spotted several moose, enjoyed high water and a tail wind. Another 5 day Allagash canoe trip with Canoe the Wild , this one with the Maine Women Hunter’s group. We had high water and the bugs were not bad. Most of the rain fell at night and nobody joined the swim team in Chase Stream Rapids! Maine Guide Mark Hutchinson ran safety sweep canoe with Sharon in Chase Stream Rapids.
