Moose and wildlife Photography Outing, June 22-26, 2026

June 28, 2026 By Dave Conley

We’ve partnered with Down East Magazine for a unique wildlife photography adventure in the heart of Maine’s North Maine Woods. We utilized two remote lakeside cabins on the shores of a lake renowned for its exceptional moose viewing. During this trip we had more than 60 moose sightings. Late June consistently offers some of the best opportunities to see moose, birds, and other wildlife. The best wildlife viewing and photography takes place on the water at first light and again in the late afternoon and evening. Participants  explored the small lake in solo kayaks, surrounded by spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife, creating outstanding opportunities for nature and landscape photography.

Interested in doing this outing in 2027?  More info below gallery.

Cost Per Person: $2500.00

Your fee includes:

Physical requirements: Participants should be comfortable getting in and out of a kayak and paddling approximately 1 to 1½ miles on calm water during each outing.
