NE Mistissibi River, Northern Quebec (More Info)
The NE Mistissibi River is one of Eastern Canada’s best whitewater canoe trips. It features over 70 sets of rapids in 70 miles, many over 1 kilometer in length. When paddling in low to medium water, there is only one short portage and several linings, making this an excellent river to paddle or pole that is not too physically demanding. Scouting more difficult rapids prior to paddling provides helpful insight on how & where to run. Fish for Brook Trout and Northern Pike. Must have good whitewater paddling skills.
- July 14-24, (pictures of this trip)
Cost per person is $2795.00, includes all equipment, meals while on the river, 1st night at a campground in Doubeau/Mistissini. For adults and ages 13-17 when taking part with an adult.
Wildlife Photography Outing, Base Camp, North Maine Woods
We’ll set up base camp at a remote lake known for excellent moose sightings. The area is teaming with birds and other wildlife. We’ll be in solo kayaks on the water in small groups both early morning and late afternoon and evenings. Meals will be cooked and served out of the main camp. Physical requirements involve getting in and out of a kayak and paddling your kayak around the small lake up to 1 to 1.5 miles and back. The registration fee covers all North Maine Woods fees, camp rental, camping and kayak equipment, meals, and transportation from Ashland, Maine, and back.
- June 24-28, 5 days (pictures of this trip)

You’ll be catered to with great meals and have your own private, 1-3 person wall tent complete with cots, sleep pads and a stove restocked daily with wood. Come be yourself or with friends and family. One guide per 2 hunters or go on your own.
Maine has a generous bag limit of 4 birds per day and 8 in possession.
